- Nov 20, 2020 While using Windows Media Player and listening to an Audio CD, a user who chooses the 'Plenoptic' visualizations cannot switch to Full Screen mode and defaults back to a windowed mode, even though it's listed as an available option. The other set of Full Screen visualizations, 'Ambience', work just fine.

I don't have an answer for your question.And this thread was ended a bit under 5 years ago.However it may be possible to send a message to the AxWindowsMediaPlayer control to change its visualization.I can do this with the Windows Media Player by sending a message to any of its three (that's what I've found so far) Windows Media Player Skin Hosts. Although I'm not sure that the values for WParam in SendMessage would be the same for each Visualizationtype on anybody elses PC.Anyhow the code follows.
