Audience:
This course is suitable for installers, design engineers, project managers, field engineers, and anyone who works directly or indirectly with a wide area wireless communications system.
Pre-requisite experience:
Commscope Atc200 Lite Software

There is no pre-requisite experience required for this course. SP6000 RF Fundamentals will provide you with a sound understanding of RF theory if you do not have any exposure to these wide area communications networks and antenna. We also recommend that students consider taking the online SP6160 PIM/VSWR certification course in addition to this course.
Objectives:
Atc200 Lite Software
Introduction to the RET ATC 200 System
Understand the basics of installing and using the remote electronic capabilities
Learn about AISG cabling, connections and linking
Look at junction boxes and grounding requirements
Discuss advantages of using the RET ATC 200 system
Learn about the installation and configuration of ACTLite software
Step by step guide through set up
Key Topics:
We discuss the advantages of fine tuning antennas using the ATC 200 lite controller negating the need to tower climb to make these adjustments. This course steps through the component parts and shows how they all fit together using short clear videos.
Included in these videos are the linking AISG cables and junction boxes together with the grounding requirements.
The ACTLite software setup is shown using clear screenshots, including device configuration, changing electrical downtilt on an antenna, what to look for, and how you can be certain those adjustments have been made. Other aspects of the software are shown, e.g. how to save a site report or site configurations, as it is all very well making those changes, but records need to show they have been done.
The videos also show how to configure alarm settings and make periodic device tests to ensure everything is still performing correctly.
